Islamic Fact, Chapter 25

As a foreword in David Pawson's book, "The Challenge of Islam to Christians", Cannon Dr Michael Green (Advisor on Evangelism to the Archbishops of Canterbury and York) writes:

"Pawson believes, with good reason, that Islam is the greatest external challenge to Christianity. It is growing much faster than the Christian faith, and is spreading widely over the globe. Many of its leaders have expressed the goal of world supremacy, to bring all people to the obedience of Allah (SWT). Moreover he shows that Christianity, at least in the West, is in poor shape and utterly unable to withstand the youthful enthusiasm and aggression with which Islam proscutes its cause. He foresees the day, not indefinitely removed, when an effete Western Christianity will not be able to stand up to the vigorous advance of Islam, which is already the second largest religion in the world… England might soon become a Muslim country. If that seems wildly improbable, read on!"
